Established as a Canadian project in 2012 the small group grew very fast. Colleagues from all over the world joined us. The first "3M" (MiDAS Microcirculation Meeting) took place in Halifax, NS, Canada in 2012 with about 20 particants from 5 countries.

MiDAS (Microcirculation Diagnostics and Applied Studies) is the name of an international group of researchers interested in experimental and clinical studies of the microcirculation. We are anesthesiologists, intensivists, physiologists - physicians, basic scientists, students - from Canada, France, Germany, Estonia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Egypt and Bangladesh.
